This error code appears when the ejection slide cannot be pulled back into the brew unit. This problem will prevent you from removing and emptying the waste bin. Most likely, it happens when grounds and debris get in places where the brew unit and/or waste bin should move. As a result, the two elements fail to line up and the grounds stay in there instead of getting out of the machine.

To unblock it, open the door and lift off the drawer in the upper left part. Reach the waste bin and brew unit, move them a little, then try to restart the machine. Try again if it does not work: not unlikely, it will take a few attempts. When it finally works, remove the brew unit and waste bin and rinse them. When reassembling the machine, make sure they sit as they are designed to.

The F10 error code indicates that the unit is not receiving water. Check that your coffee maker is connected to the plumbing system. If it is, and water supply is not turned off, it is likely that the tank is misplaced or not connected properly. Reinsert it.
