For KCM5 models
Err1 may appear when water in the coffee maker gets too cold. This is likely to happen if you put your coffee maker in a cold place or the water in the coffee maker is not warm enough. Move it to a warmer place and use warmer water.
For KCM111 models
Check all buttons on your coffee maker. One of them may be jammed.
- Unplug your coffee maker and check all buttons by pressing them repeatedly.
- Plug your device into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
- If the error persists, try again. If it does not work either, use professional help.
