Mr. Coffee SPEED BREW DSP Coffee Maker troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
The brewed coffee is lukewarm or cold immediately after brewing.•Make sure that the SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker
is plugged into an outlet.
•Make sure that the Reservoir Power (ON/OFF)
switch is ON.
•Allow the water inside the coffeemaker proper
time to rise to brewing temperature.
You have brewed two decanters of coffee within ten minutes and the temperature of the coffee in the second batch is cold or luke warm.•Allow the water inside the SPEED BREW™
coffeemaker proper time to heat to brewing tem-
perature.
The brewed coffee is hot immediately after brewing, but becomes cold in the decanter•Make sure the warmer switch is ON.
The SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker does not brew a full decanter of coffee after a full decanter of water has been poured into the reservoir.•Because of infrequent use, your SPEED BREW™
coffeemaker may have lost water due to evaporation. Please follow these steps:
- If your SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker
did brew a partial batch of coffee then
the lost water has already been replen
ished and you should be able to continue with normal brewing.
- If your SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker
did not brew any coffee then the lost
water has not yet been fully replenished.
Promptly unplug your SPEED BREW™
coffeemaker.
The SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker does not brew any coffee when you attempt to brew less than a full decanter of coffee.•The minimum amount of coffee that your SPEED-
BREW™ coffeemaker is designed to brew is 20
ounces (FOUR, 5 oz. cups). When brewing a
partial batch of coffee, pour no less than 20 ounces
of water into the reservoir.
The SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker requires more than four minutes to brew regular coffee.•Set your brew control dial to "Regular".
•Your SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker may require
cleaning.
The brew basket of the SPEED BREW™ coffeemaker overflows when you brew with decaffeinated coffee.•Set your brew control dial to "Decaffeinated".
This will lengthen the brew cycle and should
prevent overflow.
